Check used boats listings at dealerships in your area. Dealers are choking on floor plan interest and are sitting on used product they need to convert into cash..you may find a nice boat for that money if you negotiate.

You might try Craigs list

Select state, city, then boats under "for sale".

Check with your state to be sure what titles, bill of sale, etc. are necessary to register your boat, motor, and trailer.

When buying a used boat, there are lots of things to look for and consider. Good searching.

I've got a 16.5' Alumacraft with lots of extras foe $6000.00 I just want the price of the three year old 90 hp Honda with 200 hrs on it. Boat is 20 years old and great shape, new radials and spare, canvas cover, livewell, bilge and lights, three seats and butt seat, lighted compass, new cd player, 6 rod holders, stainless prop, 3 bank on board charger, anchor, transom saver bar, 2 year old minnkota is negotiable. Will be listing this boat soon.
