Location: On my favorite lake! | Anyone try these yet? Will they hold up is my question? How do they compare to the other low profiles? Especially the Curado. |

Location: lake x...where the hell is it? | i have one but have not used it yet, but a buddy of mine lives in AZ and has 2 for swin baits and loves them. i also asked Jerry Sondag of ESOX ANGLER mag. and HEADSHAKER GUIDE SERVICE if he had used one and he said yes and that "its a pretty sweet reel but it is a abu". after looking at mine ( 50 with 5:4) it seems strong enough. i know alot of reserch and testing went into it before it was put out. |

Location: Indiana | I have one but have only used it for a few hours. It casted well, seems strong, had no problems in the cold, and best of all fit well in my palm compared to the round reels. I will be getting more as long is it keeps holding up. |

| Just an FYI starting tomarrow, 1/1/09 you can get a free pair of WileyX sunglasses by mail when you buy any Toro. These are about a $130 pair of glasses! While I have always been a Costa guy I used these last year and have to say that they are just as good as the Costas. |

| WI Skis, If you go here http://www.abugarcia.com/media/File/09385409Abu_WileyXcoupon.pdf there is a redemption form for the glasses. As I look at the Wiley X web-site I see that there are different models of the P17 and Slyde glasses that are the ones Abu is giving away and I'm not sure of the exact model or color so I might be off on the $130 value but they are definatly a good pair of glasses. I will try to find out the exact models. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | I had one of these reels in my hand this weekend and I think they might be the real deal. Talked with the Abu rep at the NPAA meeting. He said personally had pounded the reel for quite a few days with large buck tails and crank baits, so far so good. He also mentioned they will have a couple different models, including the Revo Winch, designed specifically for larger baits like crank baits and big buck tails. The new Revo Winch has a 5.4:1 gear ratio. |

the revo winch is a smaller reel compared to the toro. i think its for more bass fishing then musky. the toro comes in 5.4;1. |

| I've seen on another site that a"winch" model of the 60 sized Toro might be built. The gear ratio is 4.4:1 which would be nice for the hard pulling baits. The Toro would then have two different sizes with three different gear ratios. Kdawg |

| Alright here's the skinny on the Toro Winch. Abu has been playing with the idea of making them and even made up some prototypes and sent them out to key people to test. They might make a Winch model and they might not, it's still up in the air. I give it a 50/50 shot that they will actually make them. |

Location: Latitude 41.3016 Longitude 88.6160 | I'm keeping my fingers crossed, Then I will have a TORO 60 that weights in at 10.8oz to slow roll DCG10/13 at night. That will replace my 7000HSN that weights in at 20.0oz. The Toro 60 with 5.4:1 is just a little to fast, but do-able. |
