| a virginia tech sweatshirt and skullcap(GO HOKIES!!!!!!!!!!!) and a 16" smallmouth on a 6" muskie plug while i was digging out a backlash.
it was the only fish of the day, so i was glad to see it.
side note; the right foot of my waders has developed a small leak.
4 hours was all i could wade/float today.
when my foot went numb, it was time to go.
it's a shame too. the power dam was releasing water, and i wasn't able to make it up to the river bend where the deepest slack waters are.
i'll take 4 hours and be grateful for it.
i'm thawed out now.

Once you are wrapped, you never become unwrapped.
Great pictures too.

Location: Racine, Wi | I got to hang out with my family and take one of my little ones and my nephew out on the ice for a few hours. Got a nice pike for my nephew and some "nemos" (gills) for my little one.
That followed up by a kickball game on the ice, a few cocktails with the family, and a great day was had. Also got to watch my little ones tear into their presents as well.
It's amazing how Christmas expectations change over the years. |

Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Just got my Christmas present today...but it still needs to be put together. I purchased the goods to do my own build on a 7'-6" rod. This will be the first of many rods over the coming years. Still need to build a few items to do all the work like a handle sanding jig, and a finish machine.
So far, the main handle cork and the reel seat are on. Tomorrow, the fore grip goes on.
So...new hobby to help pass the down time off the water....
