Location: lake x...where the hell is it? | your suppose to use your strong hand, for most its the right. i feel comfortable with both. now if you fish the same spot alot and take pics then you want to use the same one all the time so you can see if you caught the same fish twice. |

|
| imo every anglers are supposed to use strongest hand.
Pointerpride102 (just for the fish health)for 30 incher- you can use both, head shake are not that strong |

I never said anything about getting bit!! I dont have to move a fish around in the net "to use my strong arm" because all the fish I catch are not big enough.
BTW, what is a "head fish"?????????? LOL |

| ahhh somethings wrong with this picuture... you don't HOLD the fish up by it's gils, you hold it by the jaw bone underneath, NOT the gils...
|
|
|
|
| yeah, you'd get better control with the hand holding the cartilage plate between the jawbone from inside-out instead of the outer edge of the gills like in that pic.
i use either hand, depending on side of the boat or how it is in the net, etc.
most often i do end up using my left hand, which is my NON-dominant/strong hand...

| Backwards as usual, I use my left hand...
Any other guitar players out there will probably do the same -- that thumb/forefinger grip is far stronger on my left hand, even though I'm right handed. It feels really backwards holding a fish the other way. REALLY backwards, like "how do I do this, I'm gonna drop this fish" backwards... |

| Been using my left hand more last year due to the fact that they don't really make a right handed bump board. It seems they have less of a chance to squirm away from you if your hand is not akwardly upside down trying to put their nose to the board. I kinda think the pics look better with my left hand too

There will be bump boards at the chicago show that read right to left. Check them out in the Musky Armor booth. If you cant make the show send me a PM and can ship one out to you.

Location: Bloomer, Wi | I use Left for the gill plate and right (my stronger arm) to hold most of the fishes wieght and to remove hooks while in the net, just a conveinence thing. |
|
|
|
| I use my left hand which is my weak hand. That way the fish feels even bigger than it is. Actually it depends on how the fish is in the net. |

Depends on where her head is .........
That is what I saw first! Then I read the rest.
My opinion is that it just doesn't matter. There is no correct answer, no wrong answer.

Not a guitar player but a hockey player and I think that 's why I am a LEFT hand in the Gill Plate guy. Just doesn't seem natural the other way for me. |
