On a 4 stroke, after you take the plugs out and spray fogging oil into the cylander head, they tell you to manually move the flywheel so that the oil gets evenly distributed. Cant you just take off the fuel line and quickly hit the key a few times?? isnt that the same thing?? I am not an expert on engines, so i dont know.

i would just pull the tether so it wont fire up and bump it over a few times...if you disconnect the fuel line it may still start

you should have a tether killswitch pull it so it does not start and you should be good to go....dont forget to change the lower end oil and stabil the fuel....good luck
