I am really hoping to get out this weekend for some pike or ski and I will primarily be hitting smaller lakes. Will lakes under 100 acres still be open? If I have to, I will move to larger lakes, but is winter coming early this year?

Willie,

I'm thinking you will be plenty fine...but i hate to say that without being able to guarantee it (as it looks like you have quite a drive). I'll check some other sites and email a few guides...if I find anything out/hear back from anyone, I will let you know. I'll be up in Forest, Oneida or Vilas as well...good luck!
