Let's get the ball rolling I've had a couple of pm's already about some excited kids that will be waiting for a secret santa gift under their tree. Not to mention the other posts and multiple pm/emails about people willing to be a secret santa. Here are the rules:

-Kids must be under 15 (doesn't have to be your kid, just an up and coming muskyhunter)
-DO NOT post any personal information this thread or in public, please shoot me a PM (under this account) here on the boards and in the title use "Sender" if you're willing to send a gift out and use "your kids name" in the title if you want a gift sent to him/her.
-Senders let me know what you're willing to send out, you don't have to be too descriptive but a quantity would help.
-Receivers send me a pm including; name, age, and address where to ship too.
-It can be anything fishing related, from the sounds of things kids can always use an extra lure

I will randomly match up sender/receivers then send the sending individual an pm back with name and address of where to send secret santa gift.

Deadline to sign up is December 10th. Thanks to everyone who can participate!!

Overwhelming amount of pm's and emails in santa's inbox! This is really taking some pressure off the my elfs, but we're still pretty over worked and could use some more participation (both for senders and receivers)
Merry Christmas.

Just curious, how many kids have signed up so far? I see a lot of father son/daughter pictures here so I can imagine a lot have signed up!

I think Santa swung through yesterday. Tyler's got another gift under the tree - don't know who's more excited to see what's in it.....but I suppose we'd better wait 11 more days to open.
It's no Secret - Santa is one cool fella.
Thanks

Secret Santa had to do a few gyrations to get mission accomplished from this end. Thanks Aaron and James for the assists. Somehow our postal service figured Illinois was a good stopping point on the way from Minnesota to Utah; either that or a Super D was named to fill a vacant Senate seat and the whole package was diverted there...
After a few emails and a couple of phone calls, we think that a pair of fine youngsters in Wisconsin will be receiving gifts on time after all.

but tomorrow I'm heading to the PO to spread some cheer.

A package was delivered to my nephew this week. To state it mildly, he was one excited little fellow. This was a wonderful idea and made a significant difference for a child who's family is dealing with some challenging ecomonic issues this time of year. The company/individual that sent out the package will be getting a significant amount (if not all) of my business this coming year. His donation may have made the difference for this child this year and I (and his parents) are very greatful. A personal and heartfelt thankyou to all who donated time and resources to this little endevor.

Jerry

My daughter has one waiting for here here. I shipped out 4 boxes yesterday, and made sure to stick some extras in each box. I figure that they can't become addicted with just one lure, so I crammed what I could in the boxes. This was a great idea, and I hope that it becomes a tradition here. Talk about keeping it going with our youngsters, this is a great way to do it.

Emily and Chloe received their package from Santa today and were allowed to open them as an early christmas present (dad could'nt wait either). They were thrilled to say the least and can't wait for the water to thaw. Now all we have to do is practice with the bait caster and the little one can reel while daddy helps....... I am pretty sure a musky would get the best of her and take the pole. Next up they have told me that they would like to help make lure wallets to keep their lures in. Thanks again Santa! Merry Christmas!

P.S. I am going to try to post thier picture for our Santa to see. Thank you again!

We opened gifts at our house this morning as we are going to be on the road to relatives for the next few days. Nick was very excited to see the Mepps Musky Marabou Santa dropped off for him.

Thanks Santa!

Well, just got done opening presents and my son was very suprised at his custom bucktail made by John Routt from muskie customs. You better be sure that we will be sending you a picture of him using it. Hopefully it will be of him catching his first muskie. Thanks John! (Now that I see your work I will probably be submitting an order this spring.) I can't post the pictures so I am going to send them to Lambeau to post for me. Thank you everyone for setting this up. Great idea.

Steve

Letter from my son.

Thank you for the Bucktail. I can't wait to use it when I go muskie fishing. I bet I will catch my first muskie with this baby.

From,
Clark

Santa must have gotten stuck in the chimney and had to lighten his load a bit...no wonder he's got a bad back.

Thanks a ton Santa; the boys are thankful, Dad was quite surprised and Grandpa was completely blown away by your generosity.

It's really an honor to be on Santa's Pro Staff...

My son opened his gift from Tackle Booty and loved the baits. He's going muskie fishing for the first time next year, hopefully it will be on one of those great looking baits.

Clark,
I'm glad you liked the bait I sent. Remember, that's just the first part. Don't forget to get the second in whatever size and color you want!!

This is a great idea. I'm glad I was able to be a part of it. It will definitely be a yearly tradition from here on out!!
