What has been the most consistant presentation for you this year, and why?

Hey Jason, before moving to NY, the thing that sticks in my mind is the lack of patterns. I have caught fish on everything this year. My largest came on a tallywacker, but that was my only topwater bite. I would have to say, the most fish I have seen where up on gliders. Most bites on suicks and twitch baits, but overall a pretty hard year for patterns...Ben Remer

Seen the most fish on gliders. Caught the most on bucktails so far this year.

The jackpot has been the lure that has raised fish for me when all else has failed. I've caught most of my fish on bucktails but I've had really good luck also twitching a Salmo Whitefish[:sun:] .

The pattern I see this year is when I am on the water the fish don't bite. Mostly bad luck with the weather. Seems when I go out it's reaaly hot out or the temps drop sharply. Up in vilas last week the lake temp dropped a good 8 degrees for my arrival.

Of the three I have caught one on a bomber long a, a baby jointed shallow raider and tube spinner.

I have raised plenty of fish on all baits.

The only bait that has been a sure thing so far this past year has been bucktails. I've caught about half of my fish on bucks, but also caught a few on cranks, glides, and topwater. Funny, I'll throw a good portion of my time with cranks and jerkbaits, but majority of the fish are taken on hair. My follows are way down this year, but fish hookups are way up. Definitely a goofy year, but it can stay that way.
