| I have never used a rubber band for this type of fishing because I am a newbie to sucker fishing. How do you rig it up?
Nevermind. I did a search on this and found some good info. from the fall of 2006. Lots of good info. there.

Location: Madison, WI | Try rubberbands used for braiding hair. Normally can find em at the grocery store by all the hairbrushes. |

Location: Germantown, WI | I bought some a couple of years back from an online orthodontic supply place called Jaw Products. You can buy them in single bags of 50 each. I think the shipping was more than the cost for a couple of bags of rubber bands. They work really well.

If you dont like the dog grooming kind then the size 10 is what you get when you buy a Lift Off rig or another off the shelf quick strike. Here is a link... if you buy one of these boxes you will never need rubber bands again.

I would suggest not to buy so many at once, the older they are the weaker they get. Wouldn't want to use a rubberband thats been in my boat for 4-5 years in a pack of 1000 other bands. Maybe buy 100-150 a year (depending on how much sucker fishing you do), keep em' fresh. |
