It's out now and put out by IN-Fisherman. I bought it for $20 and then the local bait shop started selling prepackaged combos of the video and the huge spinnerbait featured in the movie for $30 so check around before you buy. It's called Muskies Live In-Fisherman and can be bought on the Nature Visions site.

It makes me wish I had the mid-west connections to put together a project. sponsors, and everything. I think I'll grab a copy.

It is included with the train wreck but I would suggest going to buy it by itself because the DVD that comes with the trainwreck is literally like 5 minutes long and doesn't show them catching any muskies by means of trolling, in fact they don't show any muskies caught at all.

Hey Shane.. is the video any good or worth picking up? Couple of the clips I seen on youtube looked like some interesting stuff.

It was ok but if you really wanted to get the system down get the video and check out the article In-Fisherman did this year on the technique (I can't find the exact magazine but if I do I'll post the date). In the video you see how fish react to the lure but the article shows up exactly how he had the system was set up in the boat itself. You need both. They don't do that in the video. The biggest thing I learned in the video was that I need to do WAY more direction changes when I am trolling. The fish in the video swim right up to the camera and turn off but it's direction changes and bottom contact that trigger fish trolling.

I have been filming on and off all summer. My main purpose was to show how baits look in a natural environment. I did record a strike in July on a Spankybait Fireball and again last weekend on a Harvo. Today I managed to record a follow, also on a Harvo. I have learned a ton about lake structure....cribs,bottom make-up and just the techniques needed to perform this unique way of inter-active trolling.

I think that video came from Don. I think he is working on more footage right now for 2009. The guy can take soem good video. I have the same setup and it is a real pain to do. You go out for 10 hours and fish for 2 of those hours. LOL I spent 6 hours on the water today and only fished for 1 hour as I was taking video above and below water. Don is a master at doing this!

FYGR8-Hats off to you too! Can't wait to see some of your footage.

We have talked before on the phone. You are right! Don is the Master....but I learned from him first hand. My time on the water now is fishing from the time I hit the water to the time I leave. The footage that I have acquired so far is fascinating and hopefully the weather cooperates and I am able to get more. I am taking the day off tomorrow and will be filming solo, unless the phone rings tonight. I will continue to do this until ice-up with hopes of capturing a monster for all to enjoy!
