| There are several Gander Mountain stores in the Pittsburgh metro area. There is a Sportsman's Wharehouse in the North Hills. They are probably your best bets for muskie things. |

Location: Germantown, WI | I live in WI now, but when I lived in the Pittsburgh area I used to go to the Fish Education center in Fombell, PA. It's about 30-45 minutes North. To get there you would head North on I-79 then exit at Zelionople. It's located on Rte 288 West of Zelionople. You can get on Rte 288 from Rte 19 (which is the main street in Zelie). The shop is run by a guy (Howard Wagner) who is something of a local legend. He guides for muskies and fishes all over the place including Canada and New York. Give Howard a call at 724-452-4464 before you go because the shop doesn't keep regular hours. He probably has the best selection of musky lures in Western PA. |

Location: W-PA | This Monday the 3rd, there is a Moraine Musky Association meeting by Lake Arthur. There are some pretty good guys that attend these meetings and it is within an hour drive from Pittsburgh. |

Location: Athens, Ohio | If nothing else, swing by Hornbecks in Belpre, Ohio on your way back thru. Good selection of muskie stuff including some older, hard to find lures. They would be about 20 minutes from the Parkersburg, WV exit off I-77 just follow Rt. 50 across the new bridge then take the first exit and turn left to the road by the RR tracks. m |

Location: W. PA. | The suggestion to go to the MMA meeting was a good one. It's supposed to be one of the bigger meetings because the head biologist for the fish commission is going to be there. Most of the local makers are members and Brian Boyer from Legend Lures helped start the club with Howard Wagner so both of those guys will probably be there. May not be any lures for sale but you can always meet a few of the mfgs. and find out what Howard has at the shop. He usually has a decent selection of stuff from the local guys. |
