My parents are out for a visit this week so I took the opportunity to take Dad out for a muskie trip. It had been several years (probably more than 30) since he's gotten a muskie and never had he landed a tiger. So his muskie total is now up to, uh...2! It sure was fun taking him fishing as a partial payback for all of the times he took me as a kid. I'll never be able to repay what he gave me, but I'll have fun trying.

Add to the experience that it was a beautiful day to be on the water, sharing about 2500 acres with 2 other boats. Flat calm and sunny, just over 60F.

We had a great time and with any luck we'll be out again tomorrow for another shot at 'em.

Real cool, buddy. Enjoy the time with your dad. Today my Dad would have been 87 years old. He's been gone since '6/01. I didn't realize how much I enjoyed the crazy Irish bastard's company until he was gone.

Kevin

Sorry to bring down your thread. It's been a long day.
