Gentlemen, I came across a Daiwa Heartland Muskie rod today on a clearance rack for $29.95. It is 6-6 long and rated for 1-5 oz lures. Looks nice. The reason I'm interested is that I have be toying with setting up a dedicated jerkbait rod. Good jerkbait rod?

Kwik, I've got one just like the one you described + for the $$$ I would think you would be well pleased, especially for that amount...it is light, easy to work + is what I use for jerk baits.I've had mine at least 4 yrs + no probs at all![:sun:]

For the price, they are good sticks. I have had a 7' for 4 years as well. No problems with it. Of course, now that i know Spongey has one, i may have to sell mine.

Wrong answer dude...you must now give the rod to me so I can start collecting them...I'm tired of going out looking for arrow heads![:sun:]
