When you can hear your baits bounce off the ice or you're in danger of re-enacting the Titanic while trolling.Take safety precautions and catch the biggest/fattest fish in the system. Be careful and catch a cow. Steve

Stop fishing at night, now that is the worst idea I have ever heard. Here on the madison chain the night bite never really stops because of all the fishing pressure during the day. Like it has been told above night fishing goes on until ice up, close of season, or when its too cold to fish, if that exists.
