Location: Stevens Point, WI | Was on the water tonight and the fish were going. Was a bit disappointed only going 1 for 3 on the suckers tonight but I'd definitely have a few quick strike rigs and suckers in the boat. Fish came off the rocks in anywhere from 2-9 feet of water. Some lure choices I'd have along would definitely be Mojo Wabulls, double 10's, Jakes, Depth Raiders and bulldawgs would be a few. Water temps were 55 on the lake I was on this evening. |

Location: Lake Tomahawk, WI | I haven't been out recently, been working 7 days a week. Yesterday afternoon was driving by Lake Minocqua and noticed the surface covered with large gobs of weeds and muck. Be prepared to jump lakes and find one that isn't turning.
Lures - Suicks, Cranks, Dawgs, DCG's, and the Meat!

Suicks, Ducktail Warriors and other similar jerkbaits would be my lure of choice right now. Large suckers on quick strike rigs would be used too. Find remaining green weeds, rock humps and steep breaking shorelines with sand/gravel bottoms.
If you have an open spot in your boat...PM me..I'd love to be out fishing this week! |
