Subject: Zebra Muscles/ Eagle Chain


I used to fish the Eagle Chain years back, was there last weekend noticed the dock at the launch, and some garbage on the bottom of the lake covered with zebra muscles. How long have they been in there?

Zebra Mussels are not present in the Eagle River Chain, but it's probably only a matter of time until they are.

The invasives currently found in the Eagle River Chain include Rusty Crayfish and Eurasian Water Milfoil

Beg to differ bud!!!! Go down to the east end of the chain. You will see them every where, sorry to rain on your parade!!!!! Espectally in the chanell on your way to the boat lift, Cranberry is loaded with them!!!

I think the point was that the DNR website doesn't list the Eagle Chain as infested.
