 | All the potential lawsuit from idiots like me that threw them. I learned last year that I was not invincible. It took about a month for whatever I tweeked under my shoulder blade to heal.
To answer your question... not sure. sorry for the rambling.

 | I have one,way too big to cast. It would make a good drift sock. |

 | I was wondering the same, but I happened to find some finally. Threw it a few casts on my buddy's rod this weekend (mine's not quite heavy enough to do it) and really liked it. Obviously, a hell of a lot more than a pounder to throw; but working it is about the same as a pounder really. She will be getting some action next weekend on a special lake....will post results. |

 | There still around,i know of a shop up here in toronto that has a ton of them in stock. Those things are stupid big,i think you have to really hate yourself to want to cast those things, but i dont dought for a second that they will catch fish. Ill stick with the pounder myself, thats as heavy as i want in a bait.
If anyones wanting some and cant find them drop me a PM and ill shoot you there number, they do mail order.

 | I'm thinking about getting one before the PI outing solely to annoy Capt. Fuzzy. I can hear it now "Put that *$ing thing away and throw something that might actually catch a fish!!!!!" |

 | I found one on ebay and bought it. The question now is, will a 7'6 Lamiglass XHeavy even come close to being able to handle casting it? |

 | Make shure you have 100# + line and be careful of you backlashes--- I know of a heli 2# that was snapped off on the first 10 casts-- $50.00 ouch They looked awsome in the water at a poolside demo several years ago. It was alive.

Good Luck --- let us know the chiropracter bill when you get home

I'll just say it now: "put that thing away and throw something that you might actually catch a fish on." i'm bringing many lures for this trip, some might actually have potential for fishedness. USE THEM.
