| I checked all fuses, connections, battery connection etc. Unit is wired into the main harness and I traced it back to the fusebox, no issues with continuity between the two. Unit will power up with no problem but as soon as I turn on lights, use the bilge,or tilt and trim it will cut out. Reads between 8.5 and 9.5 volts on the status page when nothing else is being used. Anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this issue? Thanks in advance. |

Location: Stevens Point, Wi. | Check the voltage at the battery when this happens. Battery might be on it's last leg. Electronics are very voltage sensitive. |

| Battery is new. No problems anywhere else. Someone on another board suggested the stock wires in the harness might be too thin. Going to try a test by wiring direct to battery this evening. Any other suggestions greatly appreciated.

| Might be the fuse holder... The old style cylindrical style fuse holders can get pretty resistive... If that is what you have, you may want replace with a new automotive style fuseholder or clean up the connections inside the fuseholder. I have had similar issues with my fuseholder. As far as the wire gauge being too small, that could be the case, but it would have to be awful small to drop 3 volts.

| Not the fuses either. ...Brand new two prong sealed auto style. |

Location: Stevens Point, Wi. | Use a voltmeter on the circuit, starting at the battery and move forward at all connections to see where voltage is dropping. Be sure to do this with a load on, (lights or pump running). Remember, new does not mean good. |

Location: St. Germain, Wi | I would bypass the master and run two new wires to the bow unit. That fixed my problem with my new Lowrance units. Jim |
