Subject: Early Morning, Early Fall baits

Location: MPLS, MN
Well it's pre turnover on most lakes and the water temps are getting in the low 60's. What are you guys throwing in the early AM say before sunrise till 8AM. I've had good luck in years past in the later morning, say 9Am till the afternoon on topwaters like topraiders and the double 10's. Have not had as much luck early in the morning. Anyone want to share some tips?

musky killer bucktail, firetiger blade with a yellow skirt with a red tip ( depends on water color and sky color )

Hmmm... Action on two diferent lures after 9:00. If I had experienced that enough to call it a pattern, instead of worrying about lures, here is what I'd do:

1. Set the alarm for 7:30 instead of 4:30
2. Make breakfast and a pot of coffee
3. Take my sweet time getting to the lake
4. Start fishing at 9:00

Weagle or Mega-Turd depending on the conditions.
2nd choice could be a Big Game minnow or shallow running glider.
