Location: Brainerd Area | My brother inlaw gave me a call yesterday and asked me where the fish where moving because he and my sister were going out fishing. The nice guy I am told him where I was seeing and catching fish. I called him back and told him I was also leaving work early and that I would be out there around 7. He, being the nice Bro he is invited me to jump in the boat with them. Cool, im in. They pick me up at the dock and I find out dawn(sister) had just boated her first musky of the year. A nice 44 incher. We left the dock and headed back to where dawn had boated her fish. Getting close to the end of the area I raised a upper 30's but not to active. Donnie(bro inlaw) askes where to next? So off we go. We stop at a point where I lost a 50 about a month and a half before,also boated a pair of 42's and seen some others. I told him to cast as close as he could to the reeds. They seem to lay as close to them as they can. Wile casting his line gets twisted around the prop of his bait. Kinda laughing at him I told him he left the door open for me. Two casts later, and casting where I told him to. A fish ate my bait. After a short fight she was in the net. A BIG FAT 53 X 22. Kinda glad his bait got all messed up HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE.
