Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Did THIS happen. On a strike, fish smacks the bait, bait comes in backwards with the leader and line threaded through the REAR hook eye and split ring, and that thing is cranked down SOOO tight I can't even imagine the line getting through it.

behold the power of tension.
the upside of using quality line/leader is that it didn't snap or cut and leave the bait in the fish's yap!

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Through the split ring and the hook eye, I'm not sure even Houdini could do that.. More on the new line tomorrow, so far it's been impressive. Very tight weave, spools well and so far, no fraying at all. |
