Going to put myself through 2 days of torture this weekend. Yes i'm heading to Mille Lacs tomorrow morning. I'll be somewhere on the south end. I'll probably stop at Island Lake on my way back north on sunday. I'll be hitting all the spots Jonesi showed me last year...we saw probably 10 big fish last year...it will be interesting to compare this year with all the poor reports. Anyways i'm just trying to pass time typing away here....anticipation for the weekend away from everything...can't wait. Good luck this weekend everyone. With the full moon phase i suspect most everyone will be out at some point.

Be safe.

I fished with Steve twice last week, and it wasn't on the Pond. If the perch show up you'll be golden. Good luck.

I am going out with Steve Friday and Sat., this week. How did you do? I have heard the big pond is very quiet right now.

I was there last Thurs-Sun. Fished 3 days 3 nights, Out during moon-rise and for moon-set. Did not see one fish, No follows, No swimers, No swirls, Na, Da, Its got to get better. The water was 63 deg. and kind of "cloudy" for Mille Lacs. Not even a Northern or Walleye.Tried deep/shallow,,rocks/weeds,,Its got me???
