At a PWT in Sault Ste. Marie and won't be home until Sunday, when I'll probably hit Pelican; that fish still bothers me.

I am going to be fishing the Alexandria/Battle Lake area all weekend. Finally have a free weekend without a wedding or a cross country meet. I was up in that are last Sunday and boated three small fish on Sunday morning. Everything was coming on blades for me last weekend.

Going to hit the metro tonight and that is it for this weekend. Have plans to help a friend with his basement on Sat. and need to watch a lot of football on Sunday!

I'm also doing a walleye gig this weekend in Winona, MN covering the FLW League Championship for WalleyeFirst. Not too much muskie fishing for me this weekend. However, next weekend I'll hopefully be on the water a bit chasing the Rhinelander Toyota Hodag Muskie Challenge anglers around so that'll make up for this weekend.

Strike that. The person I was fishing with had a family emergency come up.
Bum deal...

Since it's supposed to rain until Monday, this weekend I tackle "the pile"...

"the pile" contains fallout from 5 seasons of muskie fishing. Bent leaders with good snaps/swivels, double 10's with that thin flashabou that got all knotted together, a reel that needs new line, various lures that came back from various trips and got buried under the pile as it grew, a hat or two that got hooked to the lures that got thrown on the pile, maps, tools, lures still in packages, suicks that need tuning, gliders that came out of the box last fall and never went back in, 3700 plano boxes, quickstrike rigs, spare hooks, neoprene gloves, and some stuff I haven't seen in a while that MUST be in there somewhere...

It's like what would happen if you had 60 seconds to grab anything you wanted from R&H and throw it in a box, and had to roll the box home.

Plus, I'm pretty well broke right now, so rather than have a pile of stuff I'm not using, I'm going to sell some of it and pay for part of my trip to AML that was over a month ago, and I still need to pay for.
