If you don't have a Muskie size live well in your boat are you out of luck for entering tournaments? Do most of the tournaments offer measure boats as an option if you don't have a large well? It would seem to better on the fish anyway to avoid transport. And if the only option is to trasport the fish has anyone used a home made live well for the tournament(large cooler with aerator)?

you can solve your tourney livewell problem by buying a portable 48" livewell from cabellas and then just plumb it quickly with an auxiliary battery and pump. it's a nice product and i think just over a hundred bucks. i have one that i don't need for anyone reading this post that might be interested in buying one ...

Most transport tournaments such as the WMT will have a judgeboat that will come out and measure your fish for you if you feel your livewell is not big enough, or not working properly or what not.
