Thanks for the kind words,but I'm also getting some help from the membership of the New Chautauqua Lake Musky Hunters Club,Craig Robins from Chautauqua County Tourisom as well in setting this great Outing up.Maybe you can't make this years Outing,but we are hopeing to have this MuskieFIRST Chautauqua Lake Outing each year.

Words cant explain how good of a job you are doing. We are looking at having someone from our staff here to come out....right now its in discusion.
Folks putting together outings is a very tough job and often a thankless one. The outing Larry has put together as well as the last Cave Run outing which I did is very inexpensive for what they have to offer. Steve Cady's outings on Clear lake, Tonka, Bone lake and Cass Lake area will be tons of fun and do not put too much damper in the pocket book.
We want the "cost" not to be a factor in all outings. MF does not want to make single cent, but instead offer outings for education, fun and friendships. Sponsers are a great part of getting some prizes and keeping it low in budjet for all to afford. Be sure to thank the sponsers when you see them.
Its really nice to see Musky Hunter Magazine supporting our outing, maybe with some additional editorial support, the event can be bigger and better next year.

| Ok,we now have most of the details worked out for the Muskiefirst Chautauqua Lake Outing August 16th,17th & 18th.
In the next few days we will post the motel rates,group rate.This will be a total Catch & Release Tournament.The Entre Fee will be $50 per Fishermen,$5 of each entre will go back to the Chautauqua Muskies thru the Chautauqua Musky Hunters Club.The remaining $45 will pay for a Fish Fry on Friday night,Steak Fry on Saturday night and additional prizes besides the ones that are donated.Prizes will be awarded for the Biggest Released Musky each day,the Biggest Musky overall,and 1st,2nd,& 3rd places for total points,using the Muskies Inc. format.Below is a list of people signed up,as you pay your entre fee of $50,paid will go at the end of your name.The Outing will be limited to the first 100 Fishermen who pay the entre fee.

Who ever makes the trip out from the MuskieFIRST Staff can fish in my boat as well if they like.They could fly to Clevaland,Ohio or Buffalo,NY and I could pick them up,save them the long drive!

I'm glad to here your coming out,we will have lots of fun in the Outing and maybe stick a Pig as well!
Try to travel out on the 15th of August if you can,even earlier if you want to pre-fish a few days.I may have a house on the Lake for the whole week,I'll know for sure in a couple days.If I can't get the house on the water,I will book a double bed room at the Colony Motel.I will Order the hats in two weeks ok!
