| Can't have clear, as in no tint on polarizing lenses as the polarization is basically what photographers call "Neutral Density", meaning, it's color neutral but adds density (darkness) to the lens or filter. Polarizing treatment basically adds something along the lines of a mini-blind effect to the lens, only allowing light wavelength of one direction to enter so basically it's cutting out about half the light. | |
