Subject: Garmin Card Reader Error

Location: Kronenwetter, WI		Both my garmin gps units 172 and 178c are not reading my cards. I'm getting a card format error.

First the 172 stopped reading my cards, while the 178 DID read the cards.

Then the 178 stopped reading them two days later.

I get some kind of card format error.

What the...???

Anyone dealt with this?

Location: searchin for 50		Try taking the cards out push the on button and then shut them off . put the cards back in. Hope this helps if not contact Garmin they should be able to help.
