Has anyone fished here our family owns hunting land in Tomahawk and will I try to get out muskie fishing during the morning until about 11-12, before the evening bowhunting sit. I was wondering if anyone has fished here before and could lead me in the right direction.

Any and all help is appreciated Thank You.

This time of the year you can't go wrong fishing the channel edges that contact the weed edges up and down the river.

Here's something to smirk over...

http://www.traveltomahawk.com/fishingreport/index.php

Tell me why someone who posts this kind of stuff is writing fishing reports.. Something to smirk over, anyways.

I grew up in Tomahawk, and almost *lived* at that bait shop. My best friend in HS worked there. I don't personally know the fellow who wrote that report though, but I have heard his name as a guide. I did see some BIG fish in that water over the years, but none of them approached 70"...

(Maybe they've had a growth spurt since I moved away?)

Wait, 18 inches longer than his kayak? Who the hell has ever seen a 52" kayak? Smallest kayak I've seen is an 8 footer

Regardless of the lore, it's great water.
