| I will be fishing part of the Georgian Bay, McGregor Bay Sept 12-18. I have fished the area several times before and know the area well, but this is the first time I will be fishing it since becoming a musky nut. I have been thinking about what lures and what types of areas I plan on fishing and question what colors and type of lures I should be throwing?
Any tips or advice on fishing clear rocky areas such as the Georgian Bay this time of year would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and Good fishing, Bigfish

| Just a suggestion: 8" Believer, $9 bass finish; 8" Depthraider, natural perch or pike finish. Hit evening, before dark. | |

Heard they are hitting big rubber (SuperDs, Shack Attacks, Bulldawgs, etc.) and double #10 bucktails. Not sure about topwaters up there right now but have heard topwaters were working well on LOTW recently.

| Double tens in nickleblack,nickle/nickle,nicklepurple and nicklebluenickle.
Jerkbaits like bobbie bait and suick weighted black, blackperch, black sucker and natural perch.
Invader and shallow invader in black, walleye, tennesse shad and natural perch.
Large rubber swimbaits ie.bulldawg, superd etc. in the same like colours.
Standard sized bucktails and spinnerbaits in like colours also produce.
Believers, depth raiders,DDDs in like colours as well.
Super shad raps in natural perch and baitfish patterns have always produced for me.
Georgian bay has historically always had a very strong pre frontal bite, anytime you see an approacing front coming in off the big lake, get out there and hit good water hard,if you raised fish previously that did not commit, head strait to those spots if you see somthing coming.
Dont be afraid to fish the same good water several times in the course of a day or several days.
Georgian bay is feast or famine, you can fish a milk run of spots for three strait days and not even see a fish and then hit multiple fish on the same stuff the next day or latter the same day,so stay focused and keep you spirits high, things can change out there for the better in a hurry.
If you luck into a hot bite fish as much good water as you can as quick as possible cause out there it never lasts long, very short bite windows.
Good luck out there and nail a sow, that is the land of giants!
