I've used it a little bit, and it seems pretty good. I'm going to use it a bunch up on LOTW next week, so I'll let you know.

I have used it all year cant really say anything bad about it except my 80lb is anything but invisible. its white. I dont really think it matters too much but yeah so far its been good for me.

i've never used the stealth so i can't compare it to the ultracast but this year i switched to the ultracast green 80lb and the ultracast invisibraid 65lb. i was using power pro for years and i'm certainly glad i switched as the ultracast does handle much better. it's smoother, rounder and unless i've just suddenly gotten that much better with my luna 300L's and curado 201dhsv, professional over-runs are pretty much non-existent:)
p.s...and i agree with joe cal, the invisibraid is WHITE but the fish don't seem to care one bit!

Not to get too negative, but I've had some issues with the braids coming apart. I can only speak for the 20 lb. test, as I wanted to test out a lower lb. test before I spent the money on 80 lb. for my muskie reels. As a result of what I've seen with the 20 lb. test, I will be sticking with my Cortland Masterbraid which I've been extremely pleased with.

I switched this year from ultracast to the invisibraid. I run 4 reels with 80# and 1 with 65#. I switched because even though I LOVED the texture of the ultracast, I was finding fray spots. I was also curious about the new stuff being invisible. It's not, it's white. Anyway, really good stuff.

correct me if i am wrong but on the spool that it comes on "invisi-braid" is in fact "ultracast" but in the less visible "invisi-braid" version? my green 80lb "ultracast" handles equally with the "invisi-braid" 65lb which is very very good! did i miss something? is the "invisi-braid' totally different line than the "ultracast"?

I've used it all this year and it works fine, I believe it holds less water then power pro or some of the other braids which should help in the fall. That's when I think you'll see the most difference.

I've been using stealth for last few years, tied on Ultra cast last year, and just got a spool of invisibraid. All I can say is this line just keeps getting better, handling, consistentcy, smoothness. I used other braids in the past, but this stuff beats them hands down. I use 80lb on the bucktail rods and 100lb on the jerkbait and heavy rods. I'll be leaving in the morning for Vermillion Bay (Ontario) to punish the line and hopefully the fish some more this year.

I have been using the 80# invisibraid since May of this year and I feel handling and durability are better than stealth. Agree with above comment that it is anything but invisible. The line is bone white and shows in the water as such. I have grown to like the visibility for handling twitch baits, jerk baits, and big rubber baits. Easier to quickly pick up the slack out of the line while pausing a lure makign for less chanse of blowing a strike. Don't think that the fish seem to care about visibility of the line. As of the end of August this year, I have caught the same number of fish on "invisibrade", or should I say "quitevisibrade" as compared to entire season last year on "spiderwire stealth". Still have three months to go in the season! If you don't like the white color, ultracast is the same stuff in dark green, very similar to the dark green stealth coloring.

I seem to remember an article in Musky HUnter a number of years ago (in the dacron age) where they were trying to figure out whih was less visable, black or white line. They went in a pool and while looking up at the live the black was more visible and the white was much harder to see. If they were looking down on a dark bottom it was opposite. Most fish, particualry musky, seem to feed up more than feed down so a white line would be less visable than a black (green) line.

That being said I don't beleive that whether a musky can see the line or not makes a difference. THese are the apex predator and do not seem ot be afraid of very much, plus the majority of the baits we use look nothing like real food to them. Really what does a DC10 look like?

I have been using the new Berkley FireLine Braid this year and to be honest it is the absalute best line I have ever used - bar none! The tightness of the weave and smoothness of the finish is not comparable to anything I have ever used before.
