| Where is everyone going?
Good luck to all[] |

| Thursday afternoon, after my cousin's wife gets home from work he and I are heading up to Three Lakes to our old stomping grounds to fish the chain.
The way that water temps are up there now, we should still be able to catch a few walleyes for the freezer! :) |
| |
| Going to be out on Pewaukee unless the wind is out of the west, then it's lake Michigan![:)] |
| |
| I’m heading up to my trailer on Scott Lake. Hopefully everything survived the winter and I can just roll the dock into the water and get down to business. But it seems every year when I hook the hose up, I end up putting my plumber hat on. Them darn squirrels always find a way in and make a mess too. Oh, the labor of love.
Good Luck all!

| I'll be working! Instead of getting up at the crack of dawn to chase some ski.... I'll be getting up at the crack of dawn to earn a paycheck. Where is the justice??????? This will be the first northern WI opener I have missed in as long as I can remember. At least 20 years![:blackeye:] |
| |
| Thursday night finds brother + meself hitting Claytor Lake here for rockfish, hybrids + walleyes + the slim possibility of a ski....Saturday brings ear plugs, sugar highs + gift ripping at little sponges' B-Day party...Monday will be spent at the lake w/ the assorted Sponges + hopefully I can slip away to fish some more![:sun:] |
| |
| I will be heading up to Big Arbor Vitae to open our trailer. Boy I hope I dont have to wear my plumbers hat again this year either.
I am not sure what I will be facing when I get up there however. Cool temps, somewhat late ice out, and little sun hasnt helped the situation much up there. I am hoping to at least see temps in the low 50's, and if so, I'll be happy chasing "ski's." |

| JS,
Have you been laying the smack down on those Southern Wi skies? I plan on fishing my stomping grounds around Sayner, Bld Jct, and Star Lake. Water temps should be increasing this week with the nicer temps. However we had frost last night. Seems like we gain a little and then loose it at night. This past weekend some fish were still paired up. It should be interesting. Good Luck

| The wife and I are headed to Treelands on the Chip....again. We go every Memorial Day and each time the weather gets worse which provokes us to say we won't go on Memorial Day again but here we go anyway. Leaving Thursday night and returning Monday. Latest reports are low 40's on the East side and mid 50's on the West side. I'm actually considering to leave my musky stuff and home and just fish for bait in these conditions [:(] |

| I'm headed to LOTW on Thursday. Get there Friday and will be fishing for Northern on Friday evening. Start of 3 months there this year. I never thought it would really happen. Boy, am I lucky! |

| Sunday...Son has his one year birthday so he gets a cake in the face. Saturday...still trying to get wife approval to at least get out in the afternoon on a local lake. Monday...the Fam Damly/friends thing that should at least involve some quality two man sand v-ball (Hear that Setme31?) |

| Three day weekends are awesome, especially when they harbor the northern muskie opener. Plan on fishing at least one lake each day. Probably stick to smaller, darker lakes but that too may change. First weekend is for numbers after that we will get after some fatties. |
| |
| I'll be up in Iron county. Don't have alot of muskie fishing buddies so we'll be fishing for eyes and cpr smallies, after spanking them last weekend. I TOLD my buddy that there WILL be muskie baits thrown this weekend...after all, we'll be in my boat!! |
| |
| Leaving Thursday night for my cabin on N. Turtle. I'll have Friday to get everything opened up and then my wife has told me she doesn't want to see me the rest of the weekend.[] I didn't realize I had gotten so grumpy. We might do some walleye and panfishing Friday. Our cabin is for sale and this might be one of our last times up there so I'll have to make the most of it. After it sells, I'll be spending most of my time on my new Lake X and a week or so in MN. |
| |
| Will be hosting JoMusky and his wife for the weekend in NW Wis. Seems Jo had a slight mishap with a sunken piece of Wisconsin and will be boatless for the opener. He has invited me to his Minocqua hideout enough, it was time to return the favor. As far as where we are going, not totally sure yet, but could be a healthy dose of Rice and Apples.[;)] [] |
| |
| Let the hunt begin...Vilas, Oneida, and Iron counties are the target this weekend. Gotta love these long weekends[:)] Good luck to all and with our extra cold spring be especially carefull handling those spawning beauties. |

| Don,
You are lucky I just found out that I'll be teaching my girlfriend how to fish on my family's private lake, at least the bass and northern are huge, but they aren't muskies. I just hope I don't yell at my girlfriend if she doesn't figure eight...lol

| Heading out the the Fox Chain Saturday morning with Scott Jenkins. Looks like we are going to get wet... Hopefully water temps have risen to upper 50's lower 60's and fish will be getting active. |

Got 7 small northerns but one dandy 44" Ski. Be back up there Saturday late AM and will be doing the same thing. Water temp was 53.
