| Hoping for lots of snow in the mountains for an early snowboarding season and still nice a bit lower so I can still mountain bike...if the dates for the fall outing in MN are posted, I might try to make that if I can talk slamr into it.... |

| I sure hope so, I hope we get an early turnover and a long fall season after that in the 40's everyday until 11/30. With the winds no more or no less then 10 MPH out of the northwest and snow squalls everyday around noon. And to compliment the weather two feeding windows in the morning one at 8 and one at 11 then two in the afternoon at 1 and 5 oclock. Then we'll caller a season!

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Quite cold tonight here. We are worried we will lose our garden to a hard frost, earliest I can remember. Low areas are supposed to frost between 3 and 7 AM. Hopefully temps will moderate! |

Location: Watertown, MN | I would bet we are going to have a early fall, just walked outside to see a flock of geese already heading south. Will have to wait and see what mother nature has in store for us, water temps are upto 10 degrees cooler than they were last year.

Location: Minneapolis | I hope we get a cool, early fall, but I bet it doesn't happen. We'll get teased with some September frost, then October will warm up like it has the last 10 years or so. It used to be I could count on regular frost starting in early October, even within Minneapolis, now that doesn't happen until November. |

The the morning of Friday 15th of August, my water temperature guage read 70 on Pewaukee Lake! I had expected lower 80's.
Last night air temps were in the lower 30's in the Rhinelander area. This could push the start of turn over, and give us a long post turnover causing an extended period of the fabeled "fall feeding frenzy"!
Start sharppening your hooks!
