| I just received the rod from Scott, it is a two piece from a new diamondback blank. It will handle 1/2 to 5 oz. lures. The action is pretty unique and will fit well with most mid sized baits...from a 9 inch grannie to smaller stuff. I called to see if this was something they could put together for and per usual it turned out unreal...For those of us that have smaller trucks and boats, this rod covers most applications....Ben |

| Sounds pretty sweet. Amazing lure rating range. Wonder how well it does at the high and low end? 1.5 - 4 covers pretty much everything I throw. |

| It works fine on the high end, I actually went to a local lake threw some DC-10's with it and it works fine. The action of the rod is slower with a fairly quick tip. Lets you through a large range of baits. This is the first one they had built so I am kinda testing it out. Overall I am really pleased with it... |

| How is this rod different than the ones Keith at Professional Edge has been making for several years now? I have the two piece Diamondback Keith made me a few years ago and I agree it is one fine rod, it handles a wide range of lures and it is hard to lose a fish once hooked because of the soft action. The two piece design is a dream to travel with too.

Hey Joe, I would recommend touching base with Sean or Scott with your question, great guys for sure. I am not familiar enough with this blank or the blank you have to answer the question for you. That is why I have them build them for me:) It is always an education and great time speaking with them. If you need contact info, shoot me a PM...Ben

They named the rod a dadson??? unreal LOL
That is the name of the company, they make the highest quality rods out there for almost any type of fish for a darn long time. They cost more than most for sure, but it is worth it. Sorry for the confusion, I thought most fisher people knew who they were...Cheers, Ben |

Location: Apollo, PA | Keith made me a two piece DB heavy several years ago, and probably is my favorite rod........ I think those blanks are still available.... He'll have to comment. |

| Scott & Sean B. do excellent work!! They built a 9' DB for me this past winter with the DC'S in mind. I'll tell you what, it became my favorite for everything including glides & wtd topwater.LOL! I wasn't sure about the 9' for all applications, but like Mike Hulbert has said several times.... once you get used to the longer stick, it's hard to fish with anything less then 8-8 1/2. Speaking of, I fished with Mike last spring & seen Keith's rods. He does very nice work also! I guess whoever you're comfortable with, you with.
Anyway, Dadson is top notch!!
