| Heading to Minaki this weekend but it looks like a nasty cold front will be waiting for me on Saturday. Any tips for getting bites in these conditions? | |

| I've had some of my best luck on pre-frontal days and during cold fronts. It's the day AFTER the cold front that seems to be the dead sea. Funny thing about those days is it seems like at some point the fish still are active, just not for very long. Like others have said -- slow and deep. I've not had tons of luck on post frontal days, but it seems like the fish I've caught have all been fish where you get the bait right in their face and leave it there so they don't have to make any effort to eat it. | |

| If you go shallow in the weeds where muskies are going to be, my number one bait during cold fronts has been a slow moving hawgwobbler. | |
