What would you guys reccomend for a shallow diving lure (1-3ft) that suspends or floats up slowly. I was thinking about the big game shallow twitch.

The 12" raiders are wicked good as twitch baits. The other is the Big Game.

Cant go wrong with a 6" or 8" Big Game ST (Surface Twitch Model). I'll be testing the new 10" ST in Ontario next week. Great company, great twitchbaits.

SS Shad made by Smoker tackle. It is an awesome shallow bait, very wide wobble. I second the comment on the Rapala Super Shad Rap.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but has anyone had problems with the Super Shad Rap and having the foil pattern peel off? I bought one and had the pattern peel off til there was nothing left and had it replaced at no cost. The second one had the same thing happen. You guys are right tho, it catches fish. Northerns love it too!

My brother and I have been using Tacklebooty's Super Ciscos and doing well, My brother caught his personal best, a 51", on one. A couple of 40" and a 48"er.

I've got a ton of Super Shad Raps in different colors and have not had any problem with the finish pealing off. These have been used hard. What pattern are you having a problem with?

I do have some smaller shad raps in size 7 and 9 in a foil pattern. These do have finish problems. I have a couple where the finish is all but gone.

It's the Shiner pattern that peels right off. It's like a foil finish that peels away after a while. It's a shame cuz I really like the bait a lot.
