His elbow is on his thigh. He isn't holding the fish toward the carmera like some do with bass and bluegill to make the fish look bigger. That is a true monster!!!!!! |

I guess I would like to see another picture to help understand the size of the fish. I think the fish is "foregrounded" a little bit.
And before anybody starts, this is not to dispute the size of the fish.

Location: Watertown, MN | I got the call last saturday, on the way back from Dryden Hosp for some quick repairs, he was pumped, biggest fish he put his hands on, he said he struggled handling her, she is big, plenty of mass. Might see more pics, but I believe he is still out and guiding and will be back to civilization soon. Congrats on the beast, you been long over due.

| Congrats Josh. I heard about the fish from my neighbors daughter last Sunday or Monday. I think you stay at her families cabin. Great fish. I see what she was talking about when she said the head was huge. The whole dang fish is huge. I need to take them up on going there one of these days. |

| That day was during the perigee lunar phase. I'm guessing this is what Josh is referring to. Perigee meaning the moon's orbit is closest to the Earth.

Has it right, Josh has alway highlight the perigee, and even made the statement that the biggest fish will be caught on these days, and true to his words, last fall 2 monster came from MIll Lacs, and several big fish this year on these day including his.

| What does that mean????? I have all kinds of weird thoughts circling my head at this time. ......PINK.....
from Josh's interview last year:
M1st: Tell me about "Pink Days". What are they, and why do you think they are special?
Josh Borovsky: Every year, I make my own custom moon calendar. There are a handful of key days that I highlight in pink. Basically, these are days where there is significant overlap between the perigee of the moon and a full moon or new moon. It usually only happens a few times each season. For the past seven years in a row, the biggest fish in my boat has been caught on a pink day. I charge guide clients slightly more to fish on these days, but they've found it to be well worth it.
