I have 2 lower units that I don't need anymore. The first is already off the motor. It came off of a 1989 70HP Mercury w\ very low hours. It was removed to make the 70HP a 75HP (change gears+carbs = 75), and is in good working order.
The other Lower unit I have is from a 1990 90 HP Mercury. It is still on the motor, but will be coming off tonight. This motor had been rebuilt when I bought it with the boat...then I found out that it needed another rebuild...ugh. Rather than rebuilding the motor, I opted to buy a 75HP instead. So now I have the 90 for parts. Expensive lesson learned, for sure.  But the L/U is in good shape, and works well!
I will get pics up later tonight.
I am looking for $150 each or offer.
OOORRR....for trade, I am in dire need of a Muskie Rod/Reel. I don't have a rod preferance, but would like something better than my current setup (Shimano FX...blegh). For a reel, though, I would like to somehow get into a Pflueger/Guide Series, A Tica CM150 or 200, or a Induron.
I am also open to other trades, too....thing like a muskie net, sonar, onboard chargers, tackle solutions, etc.

FYI, they both look to be 7/8" main shafts, not 3/4". so they should fit 70HP-115HP Merc's. | |
