Anyone know of any 6" crankbaits like a Jake or Grandma with a metal lip? The lips on the Jake and Grandma are extremely weak and $12 a lure adds up. Looking for a shallow diver. 1-3'.

I have a couple 7" shallow diving cisco kids, but they are meant more for twitching than a straight/slight twitch retrieve.

Thanks

Older Cisco kids had that metal lip on them.

Newman makes a similar shaped twitch-bait with a lexan lip, maybe a little stronger since it's held in cedar and not plastic.

have you tired putting metal lips in after the lures break just a thought not sure if it would work.
