Anyone fish canyon this summer? How is the Ski bite? Heading up next week. Any must have lures I need before I go?

Yup, Hammered one there last week on a short trip

A straight Black Bulldawg is a must
Fish were moving on Purple/Gold Cowgirls last week too in the sun

Friend of mine and my dad's was up there last week, boat blew up after a half an hour on the water I guess..had to suffice for a 14ft with a 25hp...they ended up with a few smaller ones, 43.5 was the biggest I believe.

Can't wait to share the boat with you again this year Lonny. Hopefully we can do as well as last time with a few bigger fish. I got the moon movements charted as well as the sun movements so we should be good to go. Full moon on Saturday the 16th so we will be fishing the week leading up to it.

Weather looks to be pretty stable with Tuesday being the only chance for rain at this point. Low to mid 70's.
