Location: So. Illinois | My work schedule has opened up allowing me to take a last minute vacation to Lake Vermillion. I was able to get an opening with the good folks at Spring Bay resort. Question, are there any good tackle stores on my route to Cook? I will be taking the following route:
90 / 94 North to Eau Claire from Chicago
53 North to Cook from Eau Claire.
thought I could save shipping if my route takes me past a good store, pls I can support a local business.

Location: Syracuse, Indiana | Crazy-D's in Elk Mound is only slightly out of the way, and has a good selection of baits. Ron is great to talk muskies with, and can create about any kind of inline spinner bait you'd like. Definitely worth a stop. |

| Crazy D's is very good and run by great people. incredible selection to boot.
directions are on their website, and if you call ahead they'll be open for you pretty much any time day or night.

the Gander Mtn in Duluth has a fair selection and it's just off of Hwy 53 as you leave town.
