I'm curious for recommendations on rod holders for trolling. I got some cheaper one's as a gift and the first time out they plastic "hex" stripped out trolling a double showgirl at 3mph....

Favorites and reasons?

Thanks guys

I have Scotty rod holders and have caught some pretty good sized muskies on them without any issues. They're also easily remove from the base when not in use. No complaints.

Get the folbe, they are like the downeast, but are easy to remove and do not rattle. I hung a rock doing 5 mph in 3 footers between the speed and waves no issue what so ever.

Awesome, thanks guys I'll look at those brands. Don't worry, I won't be anywhere near Mille Lacs with them either! :-D
