Location: madison wisconsin | I'm having problem(s) with my x-75. It seems like when I'm in shallower water or thicker weeds the depth number will just continually flash (it only happens when I am moving). I turn it off then back on and that sometimes helps. I don't know if it has a problem reading or what. When I'm anchored it will stop flashing and go to the correct depth.
I'm also having trouble with my depth reading. When I'm in say 5-6 fow it will read 5-6 ft but all of a sudden it will read 13 ft or so for a couple seconds then go back to the correct depth. I'm not real worried about this problem, just wanted to see if it was normal.
Also, my water temp gauge will not work at all. I went through about every screen you can go through to turn it on, but it just won't. Does the x-75 come with a temp gauge? I see the option on the locater, but can't turn it on.
