Location: Appleton,WI | Tips fish your major times moon set, rise, sun set, rise and fish your confidence lures on big fish spots,I only threw 3 differant lures all 5 days.didnt matter on lures more so if there were fish present on the spot.if you raise a fish go back at it with a differant lure.i know I raised fish and switch to like a weagle and the fish would hit or at least try to hit. |

| Wow is right. I think everyone is waiting to hear more.....like what do you feel was the most important thing you did right? Was it the lures or time, etc. Give us a hint. I thought that is what this site is all about....sharing ideas and information.
Did you measure the girth?
Looking forward to hearing more.

| Eric took time away from that fishing trip to come and visit us during the Vermilion Outing. he was staying on the East Arm and drove over to meet us at Spring Bay on the West Arm.
he shared information about his baits, donated a whole bunch of them to outing participants, and shared tips about his approaches to fishing Lake Vermilion.
his personal generosity earns him the the right to brag, in my book.
i'm sure when he checks back in he'll have something to say about what was working for him. if he chooses to do so, i suggest people listen closely!

Location: Appleton,WI | As far as baits and this isnt a promotional proposition but when fish were folling 2 feet down and 6 feet back burning my 6" swim n spin turned a few fish,But the most important thing you can do as a angle is learn your spots your fishing and know where the spot on the spot is or the area that holds the most or biggest fish.I can say because of knowing this spot on the spot ive had the pleasure of boating 4 50" fish off of one spot in 2 years ,and some times these spots can come down to the size of a kitchen table. Also most spots i fish had a shallow and deep area, seamed the fish like the shallow area till the wind picked up then the deep area held them till they were caught,In the boat on weds we had raised 18 fish with 4-5 fish being over 50" I feel this is because i did my homework and knew these spots, I could fish them with my eyes closed if need be or decribe them to a "T" in a conversation, and it comes down to some people can read the water good well others have a harder time but that comes down to time on the water. |
