| Hi there. Anyone have the Lowrance software update version for the 113 LCX. I'm looking for the one before the 2.3.0 version. My unit work better with the older one. Would like to put it back to the older version to see how it runs. If anyone can email it to me I would greatly appreciate it.

Before you switch software versions, take a look at this clip I did with Josh Roundsley, owner of Thorne Brothers. This guy knows his stuff! Make sure you change transducer type, that is HUGE. This should help things tremendously.

| Hey there Merckid. I posted about problems that I've been having with my unit in a preivous thread. I posted some screen shots in that earlier thread of how my graph was displaying. Lowrance is sending me another transducer to try out that I'm still waiting for. After installing the 2.3.0 update my screen runs even worse than it was running before. Barely even usable. I'd like to try a previous software version to see if I can get at least what I had before back even though that was crappy its still better than I'm getting now.
Do you have a copy of a previous version?

Location: north central wisconsin | Dave, best bet is to call lowrance early in the morning and ask for a back-date for your unit. They have accomodated many, including myself for the lcx 111's in the past. Good luck bro.

| I just got the older software for the X27 and the 520C from Lowrance via email. If you are willing to spend the better part of an hour on hold, they will be happy to email you the software. I received the email with the software while I was talking to the rep. The service is very good once you get past the phone wait time.
While the update, that Josh shows, did help a very little bit with the depth finder problems; it really messed up the GPS on both of my units. Reinstalling the old software put the GPS back into proper working order. |
