I have been using that knot with my superlines and have not had a single knot failure yet.
I would recommend the knot with the superlines, but not mono. I have tried it with mono and it tends to kink the line near the knot. |

| That's a pretty cool knot. But I don't like the fact that there is only one line going through the eye.
I use Palomars for jigs, but for all my muskie fishing I've been tying a uni-knot, but I've been doubling it. Look at that link but look at the uni-knot, then imagine it with a loop going through the eye instead of a single strand. You get the bulk of the doubling on the wraps and you get two strands through the eye instead of one.
Since I've never seen a diagram of it or never heard of a doubled uni-knot, I hereby christen it the "Double Beaver". [;)]
