| Check out the attached video splice. It includes 2 short clips I made last week showing the launch on Stevens Bay, Lake of the Woods (near Nestor Falls) under high winds on July 12 and 2 days later (July 14) when the wind finally laid down. I've heard this can happen but would not have believed it had I not seen this for myself. Wind is obviously very powerful and can pile up water on a shoreline if it is allowed to blow for awhile!
