| Here is How you can beat this guys. Pick the two largest gas outlets that you have. Then don't buy gas from them. Only buy gas from all the rest. Buy doing this, you will create a gas war. This will drive prices down. I have an email circulating in Canada that I received from someone saying the same thing. In Canada our two biggest are Petro Candad and Shell. If you circulate this Idea to everyone on your email address, and they do the same, ect, ect, It just might work.

Where do you think the smaller gas stations buy their gas from?
All of those ideas are nice, but they do not work. What will work is if govenrment would step in to control pricing..but we all know that is NOT going to happen anytime soon.

| and I was complaining about $1.29! the part I find interesting is that even though the price shoots up overnight, the cost for the gas until the station get's refueled is the same. Tell me we're not getting screwed![:(] |

| I live in southside of Chicago, it is $1.54 to $1.63, what I would like to know when I was down in southern Illinois gas was 25 to 30 cents cheaper and when I went to Webster in Indiana Wednesday gas in Indiana was 20 to 25 cents cheaper, what causes such a descrepancy? Al[:0] |

| I'm ticked off I didn't buy about a 1000 gallons when the gas went down to .89 cents! Then, I could have my own cheap gas and wouldn't have to worry about getting to the gas station every week! |

| That's the main reason that last spring, I sold my gas powered tow vehicle and bought a Silverado 2500 4x4 with a diesel engine. Not only is the price of diesel fuel usually lower, but I found that I'm getting almost twice the fuel milage! It more than pays for the increase in truck payments.
I was torn when I first thought about buying a new truck. With gas prices as they were (and are going now), I would have had to raise my rates and I didn't want to do that. But I'm very glad now that I bought the new truck. The ride is better, I have more interior room and this truck handles a large boat much better than the old truck did, not to mention a new truck warranty!
I was concerned about running a diesel in northern Wisconsin, but I never once garaged the truck and rarely even plugged it in. It never failed to start once, even at 20 below and not plugged in!
When you tow 10,000 miles a year, good fuel milage and lower fuel prices are a good thing [;)]

| I paid $1.13 in Kentucky, $1.20 in Tennesee, $1.49 in Illinois. The Wisconsin gas tax is higher than any of those states, by ALOT, so I expect the price to rise out of sight when I return to the North tomorrow, home of the Holiday Great GAsoline Price Gouge.[:bigsmile:] |
