Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | This was a REALLY tough decision, and one that had more than a few PMs going back and forth between the judges as to which pic rose above. However, the trucker hat, VIBRAX lure and old-school lund put this pic over the end. A classic, rarely seen pose of an unhooking, taken by Cory Painter won this month's contest. Cory, make sure to contact California_Muskie (aka. Mark Rogers) to collect your prize!
Thanks again to all who entered this month and month's past, and please make sure to check out Okuma Fishing http://www.okumafishing.com and their full line up of fishing products. From saltwater, to trout, to great lakes to bass....and yes, the EvX rods, and Induron and Isis reels for muskies, definitely high quality products at affordable prices!
Stay tuned for next month's contest!

Location: Bloomington, MN | That WAS the best photo without any doubt! Mr. Slamr, since when did Mepps have fluted blades, and for the love of God, back off the comments on the trucker hats. They gave lots of ventilation, and had a billboard front to promote our interests and/or tell a short story! The old Shell and Lund Guide boats were the cats pajamas. Mr. Painter, I hope you know the gent that got this dandy, and please let him know I would pay Mille Lacs prices for a few hours of muskie fishing out of that boat! I'm very serious!! Great memories with that boat! I hope he gets the reel because he deserves it.

Yep I know the guy...He catches a PILE of big muskies out of that old lund. They are GREAT boats...in fact I now own TWO of them!!!! Going to build in the decking system this winter for my recently purchased second "old school lund". Anyone interested in buying one of these old school lunds with a front and back deck built in that needs a little transom work?? PM me.
Yep thats a vibrax and a Lake Tomahawk taxidermy vented hat
Thanks Okuma!
