Location: Hayward, WI | I got lucky enough to put a very nice fish in the boat tonight. I had been out since before 9 this morning with not so much as a sniff. Finally, at about 8:50 PM (5 minutes after moonrise), this fish ate a Weagle. Caught in about 12 feet of water over rocks.
She measured out at 48x21, crushing my previous best from last year, a fairly skinny/average 46. Dad was there to run the net, and the biggest fish he has ever seen in person was a 41 so this was quite an experience for both of us!
I never thought I would post a "personal best" thread, but after catching this fish I can see why people want to share!
Oh yeah, now it's time to thank my sponsors:
Keith for the Edge rod
Okuma for the Induron
Luke/Baldy for the Weagle

Location: WI | Gotta love the big, clean looking fish! Especially since it came from NW WI somewhere! Congrats on the great catch. I'd love to get my Dad in the boat with me and catch somethin' like that!

Location: Chicagoland | That is easily the cleanest 48'' fish I have ever seen. Without any fin tears of net bruising, that thing has probably gone its hole life without being caught. You got yourself a great little spot on Lake X to hit 50 more times before the season is up |

| Need more pictures! And less deleting of my threads that praise this guy for casting and not having to troll to catch a big musky. He did it the hard way and that's awesome! Can you say money making website that doesn't wanna piss off all his loaded buddies that think trolling is fishing? ha |

You need to acquire some character...apparently you are going about it the "hard way".... |

Your in the right general area of Wisconsin, but not a Wissota fish. Good try though.
Thanks for all of the compliments guys. I was pretty tickled to catch this fish - I think I'm still smiling!
As for a replica, not yet. I think I will wait for a true once in a lifetime fish for that. As happy as I am with this fish I hope to out-do it someday! It will be entered in the Big Fish contest though, so maybe I will get lucky and have a replica of it.
