Subject: Free map chip rebate

Lowrance had a free map chip offer with the purchase of select units for the months of May and June. I bought my unit in May and on July 2, I received the chip, but it was the wrong one. Lowrance outsourced the rebate to a third party company and there is no way to contact them that I know of. I have tried emailing both Lowrance and the rebate company but niether will acknowledge me. I have tried calling Lowrance but all I can get is a busy signal. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how were you able to resolve it? This is not a bash, just a plea for help. Thanks in advance for any help

THe same thing happened to everyone, I checked my status online b4 they mailed it and noticed the mistake, so I called and got it straightened out b4 it got here. Either way its a total amatuer hour deal. The rebate company is poor, half of them cant speak a lick of English.

skunkburt,
I tried the number you listed but it only sends me to voicemail hell. It lists options for checking the status of your rebate, but nothing regarding the wrong chip. I've tried every option they listed so far but each one just leads to another series of questions pertaining to everything, except receiving the wrong chip. After you go through all the options it hangs up. There is no option to speak to a human. I tried pressing 0 but that hangs up also.

Were you able to get through to them? Did you ever get the right chip? Thanks

fishhawk,

I also got the wrong map card. Here is a email addres for Linda at Lowrance. Explain to her what happened and she will take care of you. Linda is a super person and Lowrance should be glad to have her.
[email protected] Please post how things go...............

Linda always writes back when she is in the office. Please be super nice to her she goes out of her way to help customers. I got the correct map in 3 days and a return FEDX lable to send the other one back. Linda deals more with the bass fishermen. But muskie fishing is number one - right

I had same problem. Email: [email protected] or [email protected]
It may take a few days to get back to you. They then said they couldn't find info give them al this info again. Mysteriously they found it then and sent tracking number which then I could use to reach a person who said it would be 7-10 days and they would send a postage paid sticker to return unwanted. It has been 8 no chip yet but they got a couple more days. Try it. It took like 3 tries by email.

Thanks for the info. I emailed Linda and she was great. She priority mailed the correct chip along with a return slip for the wrong one. I can't thank her enough.
